Our Vision

A more just American and global community where every person enjoys dignity and equal opportunity for a decent life and sustainable development.

Our Mission

Design and deliver high-impact humanitarian programs that meet the needs of vulnerable families and communities across the United States and worldwide—in partnership with volunteers, institutions, and donors.

Our Goals

Expand humanitarian service reach, improve program effectiveness, strengthen community partnerships, and build long-term family capacity.

Our Story

Qurban USA was founded in 2012 by volunteers and professionals in Michigan who believed that real giving starts within the community. We began as a local initiative supporting families in need and distributing seasonal aid, and have grown into a U.S. humanitarian organization serving more than 3,200 beneficiaries annually through six core programs across the United States and abroad.

How We Work

We follow an evidence-based approach: assess community needs, design measurable solutions, and track impact after implementation. We partner with local nonprofits, faith communities, universities, and corporations to ensure sustainable outcomes.

Our Focus Areas

  • Food Security & Relief: Food baskets, hot meals, and emergency aid for affected families.
  • Education & Youth Empowerment: Scholarships, literacy programs, and vocational training for youth.
  • Health & Care: Free screenings, mobile clinics, and medication support for the most vulnerable.
  • Zakat & Qurbani Programs: Seasonal distribution to eligible families in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
  • Refugee & Immigrant Services: Integration support, translation, and referrals to essential services.
  • International Relief: Water, sanitation, and emergency aid projects in crisis-affected regions.

Governance & Transparency

Our work is overseen by an independent board of directors, and our accounts are audited annually by a certified firm. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and publish financial and operational reports publicly. We adhere to disclosure standards widely adopted by leading U.S. nonprofits, including Candid/GuideStar and Charity Navigator.
